Technical Meeting - March 2017

Rancho Cucamonga, CA, March 9, 2017 – The IMA®  Inland Empire Chapter is proud to announce our March Technical Meeting. The next meeting will take place on Thursday March 16th, 2017.

This month we welcome Yesenia Flores, Founder of HRY Solutions, President of Employer Advisory Council, Chairperson for SHRM IE. Yesenia will be presenting “Human Capital – How can I partner with my Human Resources team?”

 California is one of the most regulated states in terms of accounting, but also in terms of labor. If you are fortunate to have a human resources partner, this conversation will discuss how and why it is important to partner with your HR professional. If you're one of the lucky ones to be acting as Controller and HR Manager, this topic will be helpful in addressing the following:

           Hiring

           Terminating staff

           Legalities of employee paperwork

           Training line managers and supervisors

           Coordinating benefits

           Overall, working as partners to take care of the company

About the speaker

Yesenia Flores founded HRY Solutions with over 20 years of experience in the Human Resources field. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management & Human Resources. She attended the Master's program in Leadership & Management at the University of La Verne.

Ms. Flores is bilingual, fluent in both English & Spanish, which has allowed her to work with all levels of employees. She has worked for both profit and non-profit companies in across various industry segments. She is the President of the Employer Advisory Council and Chair of the IE SHRM.
