Rancho Cucamonga, CA, November 1, 2016 – The IMA®  Inland Empire Chapter is proud to announce our November Technical Meeting. The next meeting will take place on Thursday November 17, 2016.

This month we welcome John Tulac. John will be presenting “Risk and Regulatory Compliance”

Risk is part of our every day and business lives. Common understandings of risk are frequently wrong in terms of either the qualitative or quantitative assessment of risk. Understanding risk and effectively implementing a way of thinking, and a business culture to be risk adverse require a systematic approach that is increasing mandated in both process and substance by regulatory law.

In this fast-paced seminar, you will learn how to define and analyze risk and implement successful regulatory compliance programs.

We will discuss:

Definition of risk and why even sophisticated business people misunderstand it

The five components of risk analysis

           How contracts handle risk

The four parts of any regulatory compliance program to deal with risk

The six steps of implementing any compliance program

Using systems, checklists, and screens for compliance
